There are also green taxi and limo services sprouting up all over the country. Whether you’re going to an event, a meeting, the airport, or just across town, you’ll minimize the impact of your ride. The more taxis you take, the bigger your impact—especially if you’re not traveling alone.

If you can’t hail a hybrid in your town, find a local car service that has hybrids as part of their fleet. If they only have hybrids, even better. Program the number into your phone so you’ll always have it.
If your office has a car service account with a hybrid-less company, ask your office manager to switch services. Despite the gas savings, sometimes individual hybrid airport transfers can cost more than conventional ones, but accounts often involve discounts.
