Practically Green is growing!

We are looking for entrepreneurial individuals who will help us to bring effective, engaging and fun online and mobile environmental health and sustainability programs to every company in North America — and eventually, the world.

You have a preference for a smart, entrepreneurial company. You want to work in a place that's full of people like you — outstanding people who have high expectations for themselves and others, who share a passion for their work, and know how to contribute to a high performing team.

All positions will be located in our Cambridge headquarters.

Enterprise Sales Executive

You have experience, and love(!), evangelistic selling, namely into a need that is now strategic, but not necessarily solved in a unilateral way or clearly “spec’d”, and where ROI matters, but isn’t the only reason for the sale. You need to be comfortable being an educated advisor in this space, with a passion for sustainability, and an ability to think creatively about how to align and implement our solution given varied enterprise goals, budgets and staffing.

Here’s what will make you a good fit for our team

People love working with you and for you, and consider you a super effective team member. You commit the time and energy to succeed and can focus on the end-game objectives. You want to help build a high-growth company from the ground up. You have integrity and will take responsibility for your commitments and actions and do not give up.

You are a positive, glass-is-half full person and see issues as opportunities to improve. You are self-directed, persistent, and operate effectively in a dynamic environment. You always maintain a sense of humor and keep perspective.

What we expect you to do

  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue objectives
  • Manage entire enterprise sales process from first contact to close
  • Develop and execute a detailed quarterly and annual Sales Plan including sales forecasts and quotas requirements.
  • Develop processes and analytics in order to set, monitor and meet revenue projections.
  • Provide excellent service and support to enterprise prospects and current clients
  • Communicate to the marketing and product organizations the needs of customers and prospects
  • Work with the leadership team to identify, formulate and execute market strategy

What you are great at

You are extremely effective and methodical in the sales process from discovery to closing, can listen and communicate with people effectively and professionally, and have strong thinking and selling skills.

You can rapidly build credibility in new and emerging industry and quickly determine when client needs apply broadly across clients. You can negotiate significant and complex deals and partnerships, but also know how to quickly close the straightforward deals.

You know how to use CRM effectively to manage sales process and can establish new processes and procedures that improve sales results.

Your background

You’ve spent 3-5 years in an enterprise caliber software-as-a-service company with both field and insides sales models. You’ve worked in a fast-paced startup environment and evangelized solutions that didn’t exist before, that drove early adoption as well as scaling. You’ve called upon someone other than IT as the decision-maker, ideally HR or Sustainability.
